To be a successful Staff Assistant you must become able to do the following always:
Perform mailings, copying, faxing, filling, uploading, and other general clerical duties to support the Permanency Services Teams.
Take meeting minutes as needed.
Provide customer service reception support.
Database maintenance and ensure data entry is accurately entered.
Deliver mail on a rotating basis.
Provide services that result in timely and safe achievement of company and state outcomes relevant to the position.
Ensure child case files contain required information identified in the Department of Children and Families (DCF) Policy and Procedure Manual (PPM).
Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.

To qualify for this job, you need to have:
High School diploma or GED required.
Work Experience - Prefer successful secretarial or clerical experience involving multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Must pass a background check, fingerprinting, and physical and drug screening.
Maintain company-required training.
Ability to travel, driving company or personal vehicle including at night.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
The employee is subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
