> Lifting requirement of 50 lbs > Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation >Minimum Work Experience > Experience with clerical duties, data collection, and interpretation Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities > Mandated Reporter > Organizational skills > Clerical skills, including, filing and typing > Computer skills including knowledge of spreadsheets, data bases and word processing > Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills > Handles multiple priorities > Independent discretion/decision making within the scope and responsibility of the position > Manages stress appropriately > Works in close proximity to others and/or in a distracting environment > Must be able to manage aggressive behaviors with clients > Ability to work flexible schedule > Ability to engage families in working relationship > Understanding of child and adolescent development > Ability to travel throughout the State > Understanding of family centered practice, genograms, and ecomaps > Manages emotions and is able to make decisions under pressure > Works with others effectively/teamwork > Ability to work with diverse population > Understands and practices Universal Precautions Essential Functions > Reviews and monitors the quality of case files assuring compliance with contractual, regulatory and SFCS standards from initial referral to case closure > Tracks, monitors and distributes essential case activity, such as, case plans and court reports to workers, supervisor and Performance Improvement Coordinator.
Provides feedback and follow up on same > Reviews and monitors case plan documents assuring compliance with all DCF standards and guidelines > Conducts random and focused reviews of quality of program processes, including, regular consumer satisfaction surveys and case file reviews > Prepares summaries of utilization review, quality improvement, risk management, and encounter data on a regular basis and as needed, but at least monthly > Reviews files for accuracy and compliance of documentation, encounter data and gathers missing data > Assures confidentiality of all data and information Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
