Experienced Tax Accountant

CGP Group, LLC is a Wichita, KS public accounting firm specializing in business and individual tax preparation, and accounting and advisory services.
We also provide bookkeeping and payroll services for small to mid-size firms in a variety of industries.
The qualified candidate would have the opportunity to work with diverse and challenging companies and projects.
This position can be hybrid or remote, with onsite training conducted throughout the year in Wichita, Kansas.
_*Responsibilities:*_ Dedication to client service is essential to coordinating work for our clients in the following areas: * Business Tax Return preparation * Business Tax Planning and Projections * Individual Income Tax Return preparation * Individual Income Tax Planning and Projections * Account/bank reconciliation * General Ledger and financial statement preparation * Assist in special projects * Monthly and year-end closing assistance _*Qualifications:*_ Qualified candidates will possess the following: * A minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping and tax preparation.
* High level of attention to detail * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word * Strong organizational and effective time management skills * The ability to effectively interact with clients and fellow employees _*What Will Put You Ahead?*_ The following qualifications are a plus: * CPA or EA certification * Working knowledge of QuickBooks desktop and QuickBooks Online * Working knowledge of Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax and related programs Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
