*Job Description* – TGC Group is a full service Development, Investment, Construction, and Hospitality Management company seeking an experienced accountant to join the Hospitality accounting team.
As a Property Accountant, you will be managing the accounting for a portfolio of hotels.
We are looking for a detail oriented team player who enjoys working with a small, highly respected team in a fast paced fun environment.
*Responsibilities Include*:
Reviewing and inputting of invoices to apply to the correct GL account with accurate descriptions for month end reporting along with review of statement to ensure all expenses are accounted for timely.
Inputting of daily deposits from reports received from the hotels used for month end reconciliations.
Month end financial preparation including Accruals and Prepaid entries.
Filing of Monthly Sale and Occupancy Taxes.
Monthly reconciliation of Bank Statements – including research of variance and booking of monthly entries.
Year-end reporting to CPA and booking of Year End Entries
Communicating with properties and/or vendors to ensure all invoices are received timely and input correctly to maintain timely reporting of revenue and expenses.
Various other duties as assigned.
*Successful applicants will have the following Minimum Requirements*:
Accounting or Bookkeeping experience expected.
Effective verbal, interpersonal and written skills to communicate with General Managers, Vendors and Senior Management.
Basic office knowledge (Excel, Outlook, Word, 10 Key) required
Dependable, Self-Starter who can take directions, maintain accuracy in daily duties and look for continuing process efficiency as the company’s growth continues.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $45,000.
00 - $65,000.
