is looking for an experienced tax professional to join our team.
The Senior Tax Specialist will prepare and review complex income tax returns, have an understanding of various entity types, and manage tax questions and issues.
*Roles and Responsibilities*
* Preparation of federal and state income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts.
* Tax planning and strategy implementation for individuals and businesses, including gift and estate tax.
* Review of internally and externally prepared financial statements, including month-end and year-end review, reconciliations, and preparation of adjusting journal entries.
* Oil depletion calculations and schedules.
* Fixed asset accounting and depreciation calculation for GAAP and tax accounting for income taxes.
* Preparation of miscellaneous federal and state tax filings, including state annual reports.
* Limited exposure to sales tax, payroll and withholding tax, and excise tax.

* BS in Accounting required
* CPA preferred
* 5-7 years’ experience in public accounting preferred
