Controller

Physician-owned Hospital System is adding a Controller to the Finance team.
The Controller is responsible for periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles or International Financial Reporting Standards.
The position includes management outsourced functions, and accounting operations of subsidiary corporations.
Additionally, the position includes management of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, debt payments.
The Controller is also responsible for issuance of financial statements and corporate annual reports, benchmarks, operating metrics, forecasts and financial analyses as needed.
The Controller will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Business Executive on provisions for annual audits and compliance with debt covenants, government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
Five years of experience in a senior-level Finance or Accounting position preferred.
