Accounting Specialist

The Midway Motors Auto Group is looking to add an accounting specialist to our team in Newton.

Duties: - Process accounts receivable transactions including invoicing, cash receipts, and collections - Process accounts payable invoices on a daily basis - Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer accounts and records - Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues - Prepare and distribute monthly statements to customers - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable - Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing and payment processing - Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving customer concerns Skills: - Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices - Experience with account reconciliation and analysis - Ability to accurately process debits and credits - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties or skills required for the position.
